We deliver quality olive trees
As a global supplier, quality is our philosophy; it is in our DNA. From the beginning, only the very best trees are selected, based on their shape, their authenticity and their health. The selected trees receive only the very best care at the nursery. They are provided with new, fertilised soil and placed in a pot or tub. After our skilled gardeners have pruned the tree, it develops a perfect crown when it can rest in a sunny spot at the nursery. During that time, we regularly check its progress, prune it and fertilise it automatically. Only when we feel it is in top condition is the tree priced and prepared for sale.
Our intensive health programme
From young cuttings to giants over 1000 years old. Our years of experience and extensive specialisation in this area enable us to select the strong varieties and get the trees in top condition. At our 550,000 m2 nursery, we take exceptional care of our olive trees. Through our own clear water system combined with automatic fertilisation, we provide them with a balanced nutrition. Part of our exceptional care is the constant control of weeds, insects and pests. At Finca Hermosa diseases and weeds do not stand a chance.
PPQS & MPS certified
Quality and sustainability are important issues. That is why we are PPQS (Plant Production Quality System) and also MPS certified. These certifications are just one example of the professionalism that is embedded in Finca Hermosa and emphasises to our customers how high quality work is done here at the nursery.
